TEHRAN – Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson has stated that the Zionist regime is attempting to escalate its ongoing violence throughout the region to influence the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

Esmail Baqaei expressed on his X account on Tuesday, “The occupying regime's urgency in involving the entire region in a widening conflict is primarily intended to manipulate the forthcoming U.S. elections maliciously.”

Baqaei further remarked, “Meanwhile, U.S. security agencies are incorrectly alleging that Iran is attempting to meddle in its domestic matters! This is a ridiculous distortion of the truth.”

The next United States presidential election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024. This will mark the 60th quadrennial presidential election in the U.S. history.
