TEHRAN - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi who is New York to attend the annual UN conference said on Friday that Israel has committed "war crimes and crimes against humanity" by launching a heavy air raid on southern Lebanese capital Beirut, noting this shows that this regime is the biggest threat to regional and international peace.

The foreign minister said the identity of the illegitimate Zionist regime of Israel is founded on terror and killing of innocent people, especially women and children.
