TEHRAN – IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami visited the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon in a hospital in Tehran on Thursday.

Ambassador Mojtaba Amani had suffered injuries in the Israeli-orchestrated pager explosions in Beirut on Tuesday.

The top general also visited a number of the Lebanese citizens who have been transferred to Iran for medical treatment.

In the Tuesday pager explosion about 3,000 people were injured and 12 killed across Lebanon.
