Iran, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, and Cyprus establish parliamentary friendship group
TEHRAN – A parliamentary friendship group representing Iran, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, and Cyprus was established during a session of the Iranian parliament on Monday.
As reported by ISNA, the formation of this parliamentary friendship group also included the election of its executive board.
In this context, Hamid Reza Hajibabaei was chosen as the president of the group. Additionally, Mostafa Moieni and Salman Ishaqi were designated as the two vice presidents of the parliamentary friendship group.
Parliamentary friendship groups are informal gatherings of legislators from different nations, designed to promote mutual understanding, camaraderie, and cooperation among their countries.
The formation of this group, which includes members from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, and Cyprus, demonstrates a dedication to improving bilateral ties and facilitating dialogue on common issues.
