2nd Iran-China Watercolor Exchange Exhibition held in Tehran

TEHRAN-The second Iran-China Watercolor Exchange Exhibition was held at the Art Garden Pavilion (Kushk Art Garden) in Tehran from September 7 to 13 and its closing ceremony was held at the Tabi'at Bridge (the bridge of nature).

On the final day of the event, Iranian and Chinese artists created a 10-meter-long watercolor painting on themes of peace and friendship, ISNA reported.

Renowned Turkish/Canadian watercolor artist Atanur Dogan as well as celebrated Chinese artists Shan Hong and Yang Yan attended the event.

Dogan is also the founder and president of the International Watercolor Society and Hong is the professional teacher of the Watercolor Teaching and Research Section at the Academy of Fine Arts, Qingdao University.

Organized by Arya Company, Shan Hong, and Zahra Hamze, the second edition of the exhibition ‌‌ presented works of veteran and young artists from 18 countries, including Turkey, Canada, Japan, Norway, Poland, Malaysia, and Singapore.

In addition, a watercolor workshop was held with the presence of prominent Chinese and Iranian masters in the field.
