President lauds Iran's military achievements in meeting with senior army commanders

TEHRAN- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has attended the Command and Staff University of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army (DAFOOS) on Saturday and met with the senior commanders of Army Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran, lauding the country's latest military achievements.

During Pezeshkian's visit to DAFOOS, the president was presented with a documentary showcasing the latest advancements and capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran's army. 

These included highlights of drone technology, intelligence superiority, self-sufficiency, operational readiness, and the robust presence of the Iranian Army across land, air, sea borders, and international waters.

In this meeting, Major General Seyyed Abdulrahim Mousavi, the chief commander of Iran's army, welcomed Pezeshkian and engaged in discussions regarding the army's strategic plans designed to enhance national power. 

Additionally, Brigadier General Hossein Valivand, the head of DAFOOS, presented a report highlighting the university's significant contributions during the eight-year Iran-Iraq war and its continuing efforts to meet the educational needs of the army and armed forces in light of current challenges.

The Iranian Army command and general staff University (DAFOOS) is a military institution associated with the Iranian Army, providing specialized scientific and military training programs since its establishment in 1933.
