Pezeshkian pledges unfaltering support for Palestine
TEHRAN- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated his administration's unwavering dedication to supporting the Palestinian people and all those who are oppressed globally.
The president made the remarks in a message to the 9th international conference of Mujahideen in Exile, which took place in Damghan, a city in the northern Semnan province of Iran.
“For nearly fifty years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been a steadfast advocate for justice and human rights on a global scale, providing full support to the Palestinian nation's resistance against the Zionist regime and the struggles of all oppressed nations worldwide,” Pezeshkian stated.
The president emphasized that from the outset of his administration, he has consistently expressed his strong support for the Palestinian people and the oppressed across the globe.
He assured that his administration will maintain its resolute backing for the Palestinian resistance, just as its predecessors have done.
Pezeshkian underscored, “I firmly believe that we must always view ourselves as committed to the pursuit of justice and the support of freedom-seekers and the oppressed in all situations, as the quest for justice by enlightened individuals can pave the way for a brighter future.”
Pezeshkian also honored the late Iranian foreign minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, describing him as an exceptional diplomat and a true representation of resistance diplomacy, as well as a capable and astute negotiator for the Axis of Resistance.
Amirabdollahian tragically lost his life in a helicopter crash on May 19, alongside the late president Ebrahim Raisi.
The Mujahideen in Exile international conference took place on September 3, 2024, featuring a gathering of notable national and international figures at the conference hall of Damghan University.
