Pezeshkian expresses unwavering support for Palestinians’ struggle for justice
TEHRAN – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed his government’s unwavering support for the struggles of all the oppressed nations across the world, particularly the Palestinian resistance against the occupation regime of Israel.
"From the beginning of my tenure in government, I have declared my steadfast support for the Palestinian people and the oppressed around the world, highlighting my commitment to uphold their rights in all arenas," Pezeshkian said in a message to the International Conference of Mujahideen in Exile hosted by Damghan University in Semnan Province, IRNA reported.
Pointing to the Islamic Republic’s legacy in advocating justice in the world for more than four decades, he said under the leadership of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei this mission will be pursued with strongly and wisely by his administration.
The president also praised the legacy of the late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, calling him a distinguished diplomat and a true embodiment of “resistance diplomacy”.
Amir Abdollahian and President Ebrahim Raisi died in a tragic helicopter crash in May in northwestern Iran.
