TEHRAN – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has warned that Israel is seeking to push the tension in the region to the “brink of a dangerous crisis” through its continued crimes in the Gaza Strip which has now spread into the West Bank.

“The regime of Israel, through continuation of crimes in Gaza and sending its killing machine to the West Bank, is seeking to push the level of tension in the region to the brink of a dangerous crisis,” Araqchi said in a post on X on Monday.

The foreign minister said the Western supporters of Israel must be held “answerable” and considered “accomplice” about the consequences of such behaviors if they don’t put a brake on the dangerous behaviors of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, also known as Bibi.

“If Bibi’s Western enablers don’t prevent the continuation of tensions and the criminal acts of that regime they will be accomplice about the consequences of these acts and must be held answerable,” Iran’s chief diplomat asserted.
