Mourning ceremony for demise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) held in Sydney
TEHRAN- A mourning ceremony commemorating the demise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and martyrdom of Imam Hassan (AS), the second Shia Imam took place on Sunday night at the Mohammadi Center in Kemps Creek in Sydney, Australia.
The event was attended by members of the Shia community, including a significant presence of Iranian residents. The gathering offered an opportunity for the Iranian community in Sydney to join in collective remembrance and reflection during this sacred occasion, honoring the values and teachings of the Prophet.
Participants engaged in prayers and recitations, fostering a sense of unity and solidarity among attendees from diverse backgrounds.
The 28th day of the month of Safar, the second month in the lunar Hijri calendar, marks the anniversary of the passing of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is commemorated by Muslims around the world.
