Pezeshkian congratulates Singapore on National Day
TEHRAN – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated the people and government of Singapore on the country’s National Day.
In a message to Singaporean President, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, on Friday, Pezeshkian expressed his best wishes and hoped for the expansion of relations between Iran and Singapore, emphasizing a new approach that considers the interests of both nations.
Singapore National Day, celebrated annually on August 9th, marks the country’s independence from Malaysia in 1965.
The day is filled with various festivities, including the National Day Parade, which features performances, military displays, and fireworks. The Prime Minister also delivers a national day message reflecting the nation’s achievements and aspirations.
