TEHRAN – The first meeting of the heads of the three branches of government in which President Masoud Pezeshkian was the host was held on Saturday afternoon.

Judiciary chief Gholam Hossein Ejei and Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf attend the meeting hosted by the president.

The three senior officials exchanged views about the country’s important issues and coordination among the three branches.

Pezeshkian and Ghalibaf were competing for the presidential post in the first round of the elections held on June 28.

Endorsing Pezeshkian as president, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei praised the meetings between the president, Judiciary chief and parliament speaker.
