TEHRAN- A funeral was held in south Tehran for martyr Milad Bidi, a member of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), who served as a military adviser in Syria and Lebanon.

According to Tasnim News, IRGC commander Milad Bidi who was martyred in the recent Israeli regime's attack in Dahiyeh in south Beirut, was buried with full military honors in Tehran on Saturday.

Confirming his martyrdom, IRGC’s top commander Hossein Salami hailed Bidi on August 1 for his fight against the criminal and occupying Zionist regime, referring to Iran’s archfoe, Israel.

“He will be an inspiration to the country’s revolutionary and passionate youth of today and tomorrow,” Salami wrote in a statement released by the Tasnim news agency.

Milad Bidi was assassinated in an Israeli air strike on July 30 that targeted top Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr in Beirut, Lebanon. Bidi is the second member of the IRGC to be martyred in an Israeli strike since the April 1 bombing of the Iranian Embassy compound in Damascus. That attack killed seven commanders of the IRGC Qods Force, including two top generals.
