TEHRAN – Following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, people in Tehran gathered in Palestine Square on Wednesday to protest.

Demonstrators chanted, "My dear Haniyeh, I swear by your pure blood, your path will continue," and condemned the cowardly assassination.

It is worth noting that early this morning, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas Resistance group, and one of his bodyguards were martyred in Tehran after their residence was targeted. 

Similar gatherings and protests were conducted across various cities in Iran, expressing nationwide outrage and solidarity.
