TEHRAN – Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous accompanied by the country’s foreign minister Faisal Mekdad and Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade arrived in Tehran late on Monday to take part in the inauguration of Masoud Pezeshkian, the new president of Iran.

The Syrian team was welcomed by Ali Salajegheh, the chief of the Department of Environment.

So far, many foreign delegates have arrived in Iran to participate in the inauguration ceremony which will take place on Tuesday afternoon in the Majlis (Parliament).
