TEHRAN - On Ashura day, the flag of the dome of Imam Hussein's shrine was presented to President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian.

According to IRNA, Pezeshkian and Brigadier General Ismail Qaani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, attended a mourning ceremony in Tehran amidst a large gathering of people and lovers of Imam Hussein. 

Following the mourning, the flag of Imam Hussein's shrine was handed over to Masoud Pezeshkian, accompanied by wishes for success in his government.
