TEHRAN - During a visit to Khuzestan, the acting president expressed appreciation for the effective efforts of engineers and staff at the Ramin power plant in Ahwaz in preventing power outages.

According to ISNA, Mohammad Mukhber attributed Iran's industrial development to the effort of experienced engineers and experts, and stated, “In addition to their knowledge and skills, they are adorned with ethical virtues, selflessness, and sacrifice to serve the people.”

Highlighting the capacity of the power plants in Khuzestan to produce 75% of hydroelectric power and manage one-third of the country's water, he emphasized the efforts to compensate for the imbalance in Iran's electricity consumption.

On Monday, July 14, the 18-hour efforts of the mechanical engineers of the Ramin power plant in Khuzestan, Reza Khosravi and Mohammad Amiri, to repair the power distribution condenser leakage prevented power outages in half of the country's electricity.
