The Palestinian ambassador to the UK denounced the Israeli attack in Khan Younis as a “massacre”.

Husam Zomlot said the attack on al-Mawasi was Israel’s “response to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling four months ago, to the UN Security Council more than a month ago and to the ongoing ceasefire talks”.

He threw a spotlight on Israel’s warmongering. 

“Netanyahu wants permanent aggression and permanent occupation,” Zomlot said. Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that Israel will continue the Gaza war until achieving its objectives.
