TEHRAN – Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) forces have successfully neutralized an armed terrorist team attempting to infiltrate Iran from its northwestern border.

The operation, carried out by the IRGC's Hamzeh Seyed al-Shohada Base early Tuesday morning, prevented the group from entering Iranian territory.

According to a statement released by the base, the anti-Iran terrorists were ambushed and destroyed, resulting in casualties and the seizure of their equipment.

The IRGC base issued a stern warning, emphasizing that any threat to the security and territorial integrity of Iran will be met with a decisive and firm response.
