Coordination meeting lays the foundation for presidential inauguration
TEHRAN - The coordination meeting of the International Committee of the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian president was held under the chairmanship of the deputy speaker of parliament for executive affairs.
According to Mehr News, the central meeting of the Presidential Office, chaired by Alireza Sharifi, the deputy speaker of parliament for executive affairs, was held with the presence of senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Presidential Office to coordinate the inauguration ceremony of the president.
At the end of this coordination meeting, necessary arrangements were made to invite parliamentary and governmental officials from neighboring countries.
The inauguration ceremony of the president will be held on the 4th of August with the presence of the head of the Supreme Court, members of the Guardian Council, the head of the Judiciary, and other national and military officials in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, during which the elected president will swear according to article 121 of the Constitution to utilize all his abilities and capacities in fulfilling the responsibilities he has undertaken.
