Khorramabad launches virtual tourism with 360-degree views

TEHRAN – The ancient city of Khorramabad has introduced a virtual tour, featuring 360-degree photography and aerial views, to spotlight its key historical and natural attractions.

On Wednesday, an official with Khorramabad Municipality stated that the virtual tour is now operational, utilizing 360-degree photography and aerial imagery to highlight key tourist destinations.

Hanieh Nasiri added that with the introduction of the “My Khorramabad” app in the course of past Nowruz, which was designed to present the city’s most important historical and natural attractions, the foundation for the virtual tourism tour has been laid out.

Khorramabad, the capital of Lorestan province in Iran, boasts a rich tapestry of historical and natural attractions, making it a compelling destination for tourists.

The city is home to impressive historical sites such as Falak ol-Aflak Castle, a magnificent fortress dating back to the Sassanid era. The castle overlooks the city and provides a glimpse into Iran’s ancient architecture.

The Brick Minaret is another touristic hotspot of the city, known for its distinctive brickwork and historical significance.
