Iran’s Pirjahan takes gold at Nigerian Grand Prix

TEHRAN – Iran’s Mehdi Pirjahan won a gold medal in the 4th MoC Grand Prix on Saturday held in Lagos, Nigeria.
Pirjahan crossed the finish line in the men’s 400m Hurdle with a time of 50.39s.
Nigerian runners Gbenga Bakre and Sodiq Adebisi clocked 52.52s and 52.93s, respectively and came second and third.
Shot putter Mehdi Saberi and discus thrower Hossein Rasouli had won two gold medals in the 4th MoC Grand Prix Day 1.
A total of 377 athletes competed in the two-day event at the Yabatech Sports Complex in Lagos State.
