The mother of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary-general of Lebanon's Hezbollah, has passed away.

“The honorable Mrs. Hajja Umm Hassan, mother of His Eminence the secretary-general of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, passed away to the mercy of God Almighty,” Hezbollah said in a statement. 

The date and details of the burial and funeral ceremonies will be set at a later time

The Tehran Times offers its deepest condolences to Nasrallah on the passing of his mother. The managing director, the editor-in-chief and staff of the newspaper are deeply sorry for the loss of the Hezbollah chief’s beloved mother.
