TEHRAN - Hundreds of thousands of people are converging on the University of Tehran located in the Iranian capital, where Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will be leading the funeral prayer for the late President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian.

The two officials lost their lives during a helicopter crash in northwestern Iran on Monday, which occurred due to severe weather conditions.

Their funeral processions began on Tuesday in the city of Tabriz and will continue until Friday.
