Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Israel is becoming “increasingly alienated and isolated by the international community”.

Speaking at a news conference in the capital, Ankara, the top diplomat added that Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip are “an act of genocide”.

“International law and human rights are being trampled by Israel, and diplomatic efforts have failed once again due to the Rafah invasion,” he said.

This month, Fidan announced that Turkey will request to join South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice.
