Leader praises "Carpet Weaver Girl" in a published commendation
TEHRAN- Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has written a commendation for "Carpet Weaver Girl," a biography that narrates the life of martyr Golab Ali Hosseinzadeh and his devoted wife.
The Leader, in the commendation unveiled at the 35th Tehran International Book Fair on Sunday, wrote, "May the grace and blessings of God be upon the patient and resilient lady introduced in this book."
Written by Davoud Hosseinzadeh, son of the esteemed martyr, the book introduces aspects of the life of martyr Golab Ali Hosseinzadeh, one of the working-class society's martyrs in the country and his devoted and patient wife. Initially, the author wrote this book with a focus on narrating the hardships of the martyr's wife. In the midst of his work, he realized that the book was lacking something by not mentioning the father.
In the introduction of the book, the author writes, "My aim in writing these lines was to keep alive and remind the prominent and irreplaceable role of the martyrs' wives. Their perseverance and patience during difficult and exhausting days have been crucial for continuing the path of the martyrs. Hopefully, the sacrifices and selflessness of the martyrs and their patient and faithful wives will serve as a guiding light for future generations."
"The Carpet Weaver Girl" consists of 15 chapters and was published in 2022 by Shahed Publications.
