TEHRAN - Mauricio Motta Paes arrived in Tehran Wednesday morning and immediately announced his 30-man list for the 2024 Volleyball Nations League.

Iran are scheduled to play Serbia on May 22 in Brazil in their opening match and will also face Italy (May 24), Cuba (May 25) and Argentina (May 26).

Iran's prospects for qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics are dim due to poor performance in the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Nations League and the Olympic qualifiers.
