TEHRAN- The Saeidi Brothers, the traditional Iranian song duo of Ali and Mohammad Saeidi, have recently unveiled a new musical piece in the Isfahani dialect, highlighting the issue of Zayandehrood River's diminishing water levels.

Entitled “Bougou Chito Shod” (Tell Me What Happened), the song tells a romantic tale while subtly addressing environmental concerns.

Sina Farzadipour is the composer of the piece with lyrics by Paria Tofangsaz.

The twin brothers known for their unique approach to Isfahani folk music, incorporate traditional Iranian musical instruments in their performances, showcasing authentic Isfahani dialect.

This latest release is a follow-up to their successful collaboration with Sina Farzadipour in 2019, marking their commitment to preserving Isfahani music tradition.

Having worked alongside top musicians such as maestro Farhad Fakhreddini, the Saeidi Brothers are recognized for their contributions to Iran's music scene.

Zayandeh-Rood, revered as the 'life-giving river', plays a crucial role in Iran's central plateau, flowing from west to east and standing as one of the nation's most renowned waterways after the Karoon River.
