TEHRAN- The Cinematheque of the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) will screen a restored version of Hong Kong film director and screenwriter Wong Kar-wai’s acclaimed drama “In the Mood for Love” on Monday. 

The screening will be followed by a review session by Iranian critic Mohsen Azarm. 

"In the Mood for Love" is a visually stunning and emotionally complex film that delves into the lives of two individuals, Chow Mo-wan and Su Li-zhen, who find themselves drawn to each other after discovering that their spouses are having an affair. Despite their growing feelings for each other, Chow and Su make a pact to remain faithful to their partners and uphold their own moral standards. The film portrays their deepening connection through subtle gestures, longing glances, and intimate conversations, as they find solace in each other's company amidst the betrayal and heartbreak they are facing.
