Iran's power triangle

February 13, 2024 - 22:48

TEHRAN - In an interview with Heshmatollah Falahat Pisheh, Arman-e-Melli investigated the position of America in the region and wrote: It is hard to accept the fact that the United States of America has spent thousands of billions of dollars in the region to plunder the interests of countries, and now under the pressure of resistance missiles in the region intends to leave Iraq and Syria.

Probably, the U.S. foreign policy structures have plans for independent countries in the region, including Iran. America, the Zionist regime, and even NATO members are focusing on neutralizing the Iranian triangle. Iran has a triangle of power, and this triangle has caused the Western strategies in the region to not reach their desired results. One side of this triangle is the missile program, the other side is the nuclear power and the third side is the strategic depth of Tehran in the region. Americans have targeted Iran's strategic power to strike this triangle. To what extent this American policy will succeed depends on the defense of the opposite party, America and the Zionists.

Kayhan: Biden is afraid of Iran

In a note, Kayhan discussed America's fear of Iran and quoted Jason Brodsky, policy director of the "United Against Nuclear Iran" as saying: Considering the recent developments in the region and the claim that Iran has a role in the actions of the resistance forces in the region against the American military and positions, Biden has shown that he is afraid of Iran, and this issue has led to the weakening of the deterrence power of the American army. The war in Gaza led to the rise of tensions between the American military and the resistance groups in the region, and it became an excuse by Washington to repeat the claim of Iran's military and financial support to the resistance groups and their control, which is a sign of the Biden administration's fear and is a very dangerous thing for the United States. The West claims Iran's military and financial support for the resistance forces in the region and control over their actions. Meanwhile, Iran has repeatedly rejected this claim. Contrary to its anti-American hostility, Iran has been able to successfully deter U.S. military attacks on its soil. But America has hesitated and has shown an unwarranted degree of compliance and consideration towards Iran.

Shargh: Iran's authority has defeated the Iranophobia project

Shargh devoted its editorial to the Iranophobia project by Germany and wrote: West Asia has reached the top of the world news in the last four months, centered on the legitimate resistance of the Palestinian people against the occupation and aggression of the Zionist regime. According to the thought-provoking words of Scholz, the German chancellor, in Washington, Iran should be prevented from becoming the most important regional power, considering the possible escalation of tensions. Iran's pivotal role in the fight against terrorism and security in the region, becoming a role model for the nations of the region, the convergence of regional countries to develop comprehensive relations with Tehran, the great scientific and technical capacities of Iran as the first scientific power of the region, its military and defense authority at all levels, etc., are such that today Iran has become an effective decision maker in regional and world equations. Therefore, Iran is practically the superior power of the region, and Scholz's claim to prevent Iran from becoming powerful can be seen as storytelling, which is more than anything derived from Scholz's ambitious approaches.

Ham Mihan: Biden's strategy in the Middle East

In a commentary, Ham Mihan dealt with the White House's new strategy for the turbulent West Asia region and said: The pillars of Joe Biden's policies include participation, diplomacy and de-escalation, deterrence, integration and democratic values. These five principles have guided America's approach to the region, from ending the war in Yemen to confronting Iran and laying the foundation for a more integrated, stable, peaceful, and prosperous region. The United States supports its friends, and this support for Israel is not only against the threat of Hamas, but this support necessarily focuses on other threats, including Hezbollah, other Iranian-backed groups, and Iran itself. According to Thomas Friedman, the new strategy of the Biden administration to deal with the multilateral war involving Gaza, Iran, Israel, and the region is being formed. If this doctrine is not big and bold, it will intensify the crisis in the region in such a way that Iran's position will be strengthened, Israel will be isolated and America's ability to influence regional developments will be weakened.
