Iran participating in New Delhi World Book Fair
TEHRAN-Iran is present at the New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF), which kicked off on February 10 at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India.
Iran Book and Literature House represents Iran at the event, with more than 800 titles in various fields, IRNA reported.
The Iran pavilion at the fair presents books in Persian, English and Urdu in a wide range of subjects including Iranology, art, calligraphy, religion, Persian education, classic and contemporary literature, children and young adults, and Sacred Defense among others.
Held for 50 years, the NDWBF has been is a major calendar event in the publishing world. The Fair is organized by National Book Trust, India (under the Ministry of Education, Government of India).
Saudi Arabia is this year’s guest of honor, with 25 delegates from the Kingdom attending to showcase their literary heritage amid the fair’s 2000-plus stalls.
The book fair will wrap up on February 18.
