TEHRAN- Iran's Interior Minister, Ahmad Vahidi, has praised the Palestinian people for their resolute fight against the Israeli regime, describing Palestine as the flagbearer of resistance across the globe. 

Addressing a conference on Saturday, Vahidi congratulated the arrival of the Fajr decade, highlighting its impact on people worldwide, particularly the ongoing developments in Gaza.

Stressing the centrality of Palestine in global consciousness, the minister noted the evident confusion among supporters of the Zionist regime, attributing their perplexity to the high standing of the Palestinian nation. 

Vahidi underscored the failure of Israeli objectives in the Gaza Strip, asserting that none have come to fruition.

Regarding international attention to the Palestinian cause, Vahidi pointed out the unprecedented focus on the issue in global equations. 

Reflecting on the Gaza War, he criticized the occupying states for distorting realities through their media.

Emphasizing the autonomy of resistance groups against arrogance, Vahidi rejected the erroneous attribution of failure to Iran by the Zionist regime and occupying countries. He portrayed the ongoing path as a sign of victory for the Palestinian nation.

Discussing the role of Islamic countries in global forums, the interior minister urged their active presence in the Security Council and international policies. 

In conclusion, he touched upon upcoming elections in late winter, highlighting their significance in showcasing religious democracy and the undeniable role of people in Islam.
