Over 3,600 gas projects to be inaugurated during "Ten-Day Dawn"

TEHRAN – The managing director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) has said 3,605 gas supply and network development projects are going to go operational during the Ten-Day Dawn (Feb. 1-11 which marks the 45th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution), Shana reported.

According to Mohammad Chegeni, some 230 trillion rials (about $460 million) has been spent to complete the mentioned projects.

The projects include gas supply to 1,056 villages, 13 cities, and 2,518 industrial units, as well as some infrastructure and development projects like pipeline projects, pressure-boosting stations, and storage facilities, Chegeni said.

“The implementation of these projects and the development of gas supply to cities and villages show that the social justice index in the Islamic Republic of Iran is being realized well,” the official said.
