TEHRAN – In a momentous development, new home-grown drones, meticulously crafted through collaboration between the Iranian Ministry of Defense and the Iranian Army, have been officially incorporated into the Armed units at multiple sites across the nation.

In a ceremony on Tuesday, attended by the Iranian defense minister and the Chief commander of the Iranian Army, a diverse array of strategic combat, reconnaissance, and radar drones were officially integrated into the country’s Armed Forces.

These drones include Ababil-4, Ababil-5, designed for a spectrum of missions such as reconnaissance, surveillance, electronic warfare, signal gathering, and combat. Additionally, the integration encompasses Arash and Bavar drones, equipped with capabilities for destructive, long-range, and point-strike missions, along with Jet Karrar drones tailored for target, combat, and aerial tracking missions.

Speaking at the ceremony, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani addressed the significance of fortifying the national defense. He underscored that the integration of these drones will substantially augment the combat prowess of the Islamic Republic of Iran's army.

Brigadier General Ashtiani reassured the public, emphasizing the defense ministry’s unwavering commitment to bolstering deterrence power and enhancing the combat capability of the Armed Forces, thereby instilling a sense of hopelessness in potential adversaries.

During the ceremony, Chief Commander of the Iranian Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi also delivered a speech. He highlighted the distinctive combat power introduced to the Armed Forces through the presence of home-grown drones. He accentuated the reliance on internal capabilities and the expertise of the country's young scientists in the design and deployment of these drones.

Acknowledging the undeniable efficacy of drones across various domains, including identification, combat, destruction, electronic warfare, and radar surveillance in land, air, and sea environments, the Chief Commander emphasized the global significance of drones in augmenting combat power.

Major General Mousavi noted the substantial progress in drone development and deployment in recent years, with hundreds of diverse drones contributing to the capabilities of the Iranian army.

In conclusion, the Chief Commander expressed unwavering confidence that the assimilation of numerous strategic combat, reconnaissance, and radar drones will significantly elevate the combat capabilities of ground forces, air defense, air force, and navy, empowering them to execute their missions with unparalleled success.
