TEHRAN - Visitors to Iran’s pavilion at the International Tourism Fair FITUR in Spain will be treated to a captivating display of traditional performances this year.
A special artistic group, alongside representatives and industry stakeholders, will bring the richness of Iranian culture to life at the prestigious fair which takes place in Madrid from January 24 to 28.
Dressed in stunning traditional attire representing various regions of the country, the group will showcase the traditions and ceremonial rituals of different Iranian backgrounds, IRNA reported on Tuesday.
In addition to the live performances, the pavilion will feature special video programs, live Iranian music, and workshops on handicrafts, calligraphy, and other traditional Iranian arts.
In addition, the pavilion’s programs for this edition of FITUR draw inspiration from tourism symbols, creating an interactive space designed to engage and educate participants. Moreover, special sessions will be held to provide insights and education to attendees.
Iran is home to various nomadic tribes, each with its own distinct traditions and artistic expressions. Nomadic performances, characterized by energetic dances and tribal music, encapsulate the nomads’ nomadic way of life.
The country’s vast geographical expanse has given rise to a plethora of regional performances, each infused with the unique flavors of local culture.
From captivating folk dances to rhythmic music, these performances often narrate tales of love, heroism, and cultural pride. The performers, adorned in exquisite traditional attire, bring to life the essence of Iranian identity, allowing spectators to connect with the roots of the nation.
As mentioned by organizers, the 44th edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, is set to reflect the growth experienced in recent months by the national and international tourism industry and lays the foundations for the consolidation of the sector during 2024.
