9 Dey defense system makes debut in Aseman Velayat drill
TEHRAN- The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force successfully deployed its newly unveiled 9 Dey short-range air defense system during the Aseman Velayat joint drill.
The system intercepted and destroyed various low-altitude targets during the operational phase of the exercise.
Brigadier General Abbas Farajpour, the drill's spokesperson, highlighted the significance of this achievement, stating that the 9 Dey system's successful performance underscores Iran's unwavering commitment to enhancing its air defense capabilities.
He further emphasized that this capability has proven instrumental in safeguarding the nation against aerial threats, including attempts by "arrogant powers" to undermine Iran's security.
