TEHRAN – A board member of the Syndicate of Paper and Cardboard Manufacturers of Iran has said currently, 140 production units are operating in the field of packaging paper and cardboards, which provide 90 percent of domestic needs.

“Currently, due to the efforts of domestic producers with excess capacity, we produce packaging papers for domestic market and even a part of the production is exported,” Amir-Saman Esfandiari told IRIB on Sunday.
