TEHRAN - Iranian Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei has reaffirmed that all Iranians, both inside and outside the country, who are patriotic and law-abiding are respected and protected by the law.

He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran applies its laws to all Iranians, except for specific cases that have also been clearly outlined in the legislation.

Speaking at a meeting on Tuesday, Ejei underscored that patriotism is considered an integral part of faith in Islam. He added that individuals who uphold the law more diligently naturally benefit from greater legal protection.

Regarding the potential contributions of Iranians living abroad, Ejei remarked, "Both Iranians residing outside the country and those traveling abroad present both opportunities and challenges. One of the Supreme Council for the Affairs of Iranians Abroad's key responsibilities is to identify and harness these opportunities."

In conclusion, Ejei called for strengthening the Supreme Council for the Affairs of Iranians Abroad by granting it greater authority and ensuring the effectiveness of its resolutions. He emphasized that this strengthening should not be through enhancing the Council's decision-making power.
