Nasrallah stresses Gen. Soleimani's key role in forming 'Axis of Resistance’

TEHRAN- Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah on Wednesday emphasized the pivotal role of General Soleimani in shaping the concept of the Axis of Resistance.

Speaking on the fourth anniversary of General Qassem Soleimani, Nasrallah highlighted the creation of genuine and emotional bonds between various resistance movements as a testament to his sincerity. He also credited General Soleimani for playing a pivotal role in shaping the concept of the "Axis of Resistance," a term that gained prominence in recent years due to his central influence and strategic efforts.

Nasrallah elaborated on General Soleimani's unwavering support for the Iraqi resistance, emphasizing that despite formidable American threats, he steadfastly backed Iraqi resistance forces.
       
Highlighting the enduring impact of General Soleimani's martyrdom, Nasrallah emphasized the widespread influence of this legendary figure.
 
He underscored that the sacrifices witnessed today are a testament to the connections fostered by Hajj Qassem and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Hassan Nasrallah, General Soleimani's strategic approach aimed at empowering these groups. 

Hassan Nasrallah extended condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of General Soleimani, Hajj Al-Muhandis, and their Iraqi companions.
 
Additionally, he strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Iran's Kerman, expressing heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs.

The latest developments of the Israeli war on Gaza and the ongoing military confrontations between Hezbollah and the Zionist regime were also mentioned by the Hezbollah chief.

He also offered condolences on the martyrdom of Hamas official Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri.

Former head of IRGC’s Quds Force General Qassem Soleimani and former deputy chief of Iraq’s Hashd Shaabi paramilitary force Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis were martyred in a U.S. drone strike, ordered by former president Donald Trump, near Baghdad Airport on January 3, 2020.

Following their martyrdom, Sayyed Nasrallah vowed that the blood of the top commanders would not go in vain, stressing that the strike would lead to the withdrawal of US troops from the region.
