TEHRAN – In a recent diplomatic overture, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Taliban engaged in extensive discussions with key economic stakeholders from both Afghanistan and Iran.

This diplomatic exchange took place during the Minister's official visit to Mashhad, as reported by the Tasnim News Agency.

The primary focus of these high-level meetings was to encourage and promote increased participation in the Afghan economic market. The Taliban's Foreign Minister emphasized the untapped potential and numerous economic opportunities that could be harnessed through proactive engagement. The discussions were not merely about economic transactions but aimed to lay the groundwork for a sustained and mutually beneficial collaboration between the two nations.

The diplomatic visit underscored the importance of fostering a strong economic partnership between Afghanistan and Iran.
