Chamber of Guilds stress following up on garment units’ affairs
TEHRAN – In a meeting between the head of the Iran Chamber of Guilds with the representatives of the country’s clothing brands, the head of the chamber stressed the importance of following up on the needs of the clothing production units.
As reported by the portal of the Chamber of Guilds, the need to stop the supply of fake clothing and smuggling in the market, focusing of clothing unions on supporting distributors, production issues, and uncertainty in the methods of dealing with second-hand clothing distributors were among the topics raised in this meeting.
After listening to some of the problems of the clothing producers, Mojtaba Safaei said: “The clothing industry is one of the most important industries that should be supported by the government. Sometimes the production system is affected by the unprofessional decisions of some authorities. However, despite all the challenges, Iranian clothing is very strong and powerful in terms of quality.”
