TEHRAN – Hossein Taeb, the advisor to the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has asserted that the deployment of U.S. naval forces in the region is a strategic move aimed at compensating for Israel's recent defeats against the resistance movements in Palestine.

These remarks were made during the third session of the central commemoration command center for the anniversary of the 2009 nationwide rallies, known as the 'Dey 9 Epic,' which marked the end of post-election unrest and renewed the nation’s allegiance to the Islamic establishment.

Taeb emphasized Israel's reliance on U.S. military equipment, highlighting the extensive bombardment it faced in recent conflicts as an indicator of its diminishing power.

In his analysis of regional conditions and global trends, Taeb argued that Iran's growing power and commitment to Islamic values pose a regional threat to the United States. He pointed out significant changes in global and regional equations four decades after the Islamic Revolution, citing events like the Dey 9 Epic and the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation as emblematic moves toward the ideals of resistance.

Taeb further elaborated on the U.S. perception of Iran's increasing influence and its efforts to curb it post-Cold War. He discussed the U.S. strategy, including sanctions and the establishment of military bases in neighboring countries, designed to counter Iran. Despite multiple attempts against Iran, the U.S. and Israel recognized that the Islamic Revolution posed a threat to their interests, leading to a plan for dual governance in Iran to create internal discord.

The advisor emphasized Iran's resilience in the face of challenges and the ongoing strengthening of its position. As the nation commemorates December 9 and looks ahead to upcoming events, the internal and regional empowerment process for Iran is on the rise.
