TEHRAN – Seyyed Razi Mousavi, an Iranian military advisor and IRGC commander, valiantly met his martyrdom in the Zeinabiyeh region on the outskirts of Damascus, Syria.

According to Tasnim News Agency, Commander Mousavi, known for his unwavering commitment and pivotal role in the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, was martyred as a result of an attack carried out by the Israeli regime. 

Commander Mousavi was a longtime friend and comrade of the top Iranian anti-terror commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani who was martyred during a U.S. drone attack in Baghdad on January 3, 2020.
