Cultural Heritage Multimedia Festival announces winners

TEHRAN – Winners of the different sections of the 2nd edition of the National Cultural Heritage Multimedia Festival were announced on Friday evening. 

Top works in the categories of radio, television, cinema, written productions and traditional Iranian performing arts focusing on Iran's rich cultural heritage, were honored in a special ceremony at the conference hall of the Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin.

In cinema section, received the best film award. 

In television section, “Ragbarg” by Sajjad Amir-Yazdani was named best film, while "Ten Years Old" by Fatemeh Jafari received best animation award. 

“Fire and Wind” by Mojtaba Raei won best TV series award in this section and “Jeiran" by Hassan Fat’hi received an honorable mention. 

In the television documentary section, the series "Museumgoer" by Reyhaneh Rouhani was named best.

In Radio section, "Secret and Fog..." produced by Razieh Rahmani was named best podcast. 

“Bostaneh”, produced by Hamideh Pak, was picked as best radio documentary and “The Story of Mah Titi” produced by Zahra Esmaeili received the best radio performance award. 

The 2nd National Cultural Heritage Multimedia Festival was held in the northwestern city of Qazvin from November 29 to December 1. 

The historical wonders of Qazvin, including the caravanserai of Sa'd al-Saltaneh, the Chehel Sotun Palace, and the Sardar Ab-Anbar (cistern), served as the venues for the performances by the selected artists during the event.

The dramatic arts section of the festival included a lineup of documentaries, short films, and animations.

A variety of exhibitions and workshops was also organized on the sidelines of the event.
