TEHRAN - Farzin Fardis, a member of the board of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA), has stressed the need for businesses to familiarize themselves with artificial intelligence (AI), as a major component of the world’s fourth industrial revolution.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of an AI promotion event called “Wealth creation on the verge of transformation” on Tuesday, Fardis called on the members of the chamber to take part in the events organized by the TCCIMA’s Digital Innovation and Transformation Center which are aimed at familiarizing the private sector enterprises with this technology, the ICCIMA portal reported.

“If we stay behind in the fourth industrial revolution, which many consider to be based on artificial intelligence, we might lose all our advantages even in the energy sector,” he stressed.
