‘With every passing day Israel sinks further into the quagmire’

TEHRAN- The spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, has said that Israeli armed forces are terrified of engaging in direct clash with Palestinian resistance fighters in the Gaza Strip.

Therefore, Shekarchi said, the Tel Aviv regime is bombarding civilians out of despair.

“World powers are incapable of confronting the small group of Hamas. They are afraid of face-to-face battles with Hamas, and therefore target women and children out of desolation and humiliation,” the brigadier general said on Saturday during an event in the southern city of Kerman to commemorate National Student Day and National Day of Fight Against Global Arrogance, both of which are observed by Iranians on November 4.

He added, “Such atrocities and bloodshed will not last long, as Palestine and resistance groups will eventually emerge victorious.”

Superpowers are powerless to defeat the resistance fighters who are leading the fight to reclaim the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people and liberate their territories occupied by the Zionist regime.

So far 9,770 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. According to the Guardian, up to 4,800 of those killed are children.

General Shekarchi said the unanimous condemnation of the repressive and murderous Israeli regime by both Muslim and non-Muslim countries was the most noteworthy victory for the Muslim world after the October 7 Operation al-Aqsa Storm.

According to Shekarchi, the U.S. Army, Navy, and Central Command (CENTCOM) officers are in Tel Aviv to boost the Israeli military’s morale, after it was completely humiliated by Gaza’s resistance fighters during the Storm operation.

“With every day of the war that passes, Israel sinks further into the quagmire of collapse. There is no option left for Israel’s child-killing regime other than downfall.”

The spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces stated that most of the nations that make up the U.S.-led North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) threw their support behind Israel following the valiant and successful Operation al-Aqsa Storm, which was a blatant display of rebellion by the long-downtrodden residents of Gaza.

He also maintained that Americans have publicly demonstrated their unconditional support for the occupying Israeli regime.

The Tel Aviv regime launched the war after Hamas launched the operation against the occupying regime. Since the onset of the war, the United States has backed Israel’s ferocious attacks on the Palestinian territory as a means of “self-defense.”

Washington has also vetoed a United Nations Security Council resolution calling on the occupying regime to stop the war.

On Friday, Iran’s deputy permanent representative to the UN office in Geneva vehemently denounced the Israeli regime’s attempts to expel the Palestinian inhabitants from the Gaza Strip, calling it a “crime against humanity”.

Mahdi Aliabadi made the comments at a session of the International Organization for Migration’s (IOM) Permanent Committee.

“The Israeli regime’s ruthless attacks on Gaza will lead to a new displacement crisis. The occupiers have resolved to forcibly evacuate Gaza’s population, something which serves as another example of crime against humanity by the Zionist regime,” Aliabadi stressed.

Aliabadi went on to add, “The IOM’s members cannot remain indifferent towards this crisis, and simply bear witness to the formation of a new crisis of displacement and migration.”

He stressed, “It is necessary that the organization adopt a strong and decisive position concerning whatever measure that leads to forcible evacuation of Gaza’s population.”
