TEHRAN – The spokesman of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps declared on Saturday that millions of Palestinian people are ready to pick up arms and begin a fight with the Israeli regime to end 75 years of occupation.

“While the Zionists claim that Hamas should be eradicated, millions of Palestinians are ready to fight and today the spirit of resistance is present in every Palestinian individual. They are ready for the liberation of their land,” Ramezan Sharif noted, referring to Israel’s collective punishment against the 2.3 million population in Gaza, which ultimately aims to force Palestinians to cede the territory and leave their homes.

The IRGC spokesman added that Western states and Israel thought people around the world had forgotten about the Palestinian cause. But the public opinion of the world is now focused on shedding light on 75 years of tyranny and oppression that Palestinians have had to endure. Sharif said Palestine has now tuned into the most important issue across the globe.

“Once again, God has shown that Israel is a savage and heartless entity. The regime targeted a hospital while U.S. President Joe Biden was there in the occupied territories. Americans once claimed that if Israel did not exist, they would have had to create it themselves, which goes to demonstrate the enemy's utmost depravity,” the military official stated.

Sharif said what’s happening now in Gaza and the occupied territories is something that the entire Muslim population in West Asia should be wary of. That’s because the Israeli regime initially intended to occupy the lands stretching from the Nile to Euphrates. The Israeli regime was implementing this plan step by step as it continued to raze Palestinian homes and create settlements on their properties while making sure to arm the settlers. The IRGC official warned that Israel’s next target would be other Arab countries in the region.

“The era of the Islamic Revolution has opened up new horizons for the Palestinian people. The people of Iran, by commemorating International Quds Day every year, have shown that they are the main supporters of Palestinians”.

Sharif explained that the Israeli regime is getting humiliated as each day goes by. “They built concrete walls around the occupied territories that collapsed during the Storm of Al-Aqsa. With that, Israel’s dominance also collapsed,” he stressed

Elsewhere in his remarks, the spokesman emphasized that the Israeli regime consider its military, intelligence, and spy forces the main source of its power. But with the October 7 attack on the occupied territories the whole world could see that Israel has been promoting total lies about its capabilities. “The whole world saw that more than a thousand faithful fighters crossed this wall and took control of 21 settlements, killed Israeli generals, and took them hostage; Israel claimed that the occupied territories were an impregnable fortress that no one could penetrate,” he added

Sharif also reiterated the Leader of Islamic Revolution’s remarks, stressing that the collapse of the Israeli regime is only accelerating.

“After the Storm of Al-Aqsa, the history of Palestine should be seen differently and written differently.”
