TEHRAN – The Iran Chamber of Guilds held the event of equipping and integrating the supervision units of guild chambers across the country in Tehran on Wednesday, the portal the chamber reported.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Industry, Mining and Trade Ministry and the Presidential Office, was attended by several senior officials including the Industry Minister Abbas Aliabadi and his deputies, Head of Iran Chamber of Guilds Mojtaba Safaei and the chamber’s other board members as well as managers and inspectors of Tehran Chamber of Guilds and Tehran unions.

Speaking at this event, Aliabadi underlined the significant role of the guilds in the country’s economy, saying: “The prosperity of production is realized with the development of the market and the increase of trade union activities, and for this reason, trade unions play the most important role in the country's economy.”

In this event, the head of Iran Chamber of Guilds expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the view of the industry, mining and trade minister towards the guilds and the market and said: “It has been proven to us that Mr. Aliabadi is more concerned about the guilds than any official. So that in the meeting of the high supervisory board, all the demands of the guilds were accepted, and today we are witnessing the implementation of one of those demands and the supply of cars needed by the inspectors of the guild chambers all over the country.”

Safaei further stated: “Therefore, when we see that the government is looking to solve the problems and demands of the guilds, on the other hand, the guilds will serve the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the consumers.”
