TEHRAN – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has sent a congratulatory message to his Algerian counterpart, offering congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of Algeria.

In the message, President Raisi congratulated the anniversary of the beginning of the liberating revolution of the country, the achievement of which was the independence and freedom of the historic and proud country of Algeria from colonialism, according to the official website of the Iranian presidency. 

In his message to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the people of Algeria, President Raisi expressed hope that relying on the position of Iran and Algeria in promoting Islamic culture and civilization and enjoying the deep historical and cultural commonalities, the two Muslim countries witness the ever-increasing development of good relations and expanding cooperation in various global and regional fields for the benefit of the highest interests of the Islamic Ummah.
