Audio- described version of “Fireworks Wednesday” for visually impaired released
TEHRAN – A new audio-described version of Iranian director Asghar Farhadi's acclaimed film "Fireworks Wednesday" has been released for visually impaired individuals.
The audio description has been narrated by actress Mehraveh Sharifinia and produced by the Sevina Group.
"Fireworks Wednesday" is a 2006 Iranian film revolving around the character of Roohi, who is hired as a housemaid by a young couple named Morteza and Mojdeh. In the days leading up to the Persian New Year, Roohi becomes embroiled in the middle of the couple's troubled relationship after she begins to suspect that Morteza is cheating on his wife.
As tensions mount between the couple, Roohi also becomes involved in her own personal drama with her fiancé, who is a fireworks salesman.
